I am a writer, student, traveler, poker pro, and a recovering addict.
My name is "KingKrab." I am a winning poker player, and I sustain my lifestyle making about $18/hr. I was introduced to poker when I was 16 in a friend's $5 buy in basement game. I graduated from University at the age of 23 and have worked for about 3 years before losing my job. I've been playing poker for real money (100's of dollars) professionally for about 2 years now. In the 27 years I have lived, I spent the last 2 of them in a deep depression which led to alcohol abuse, marijuana use, and harder drugs.
Poker was there for me for income when I couldn't handle the pressures of real life, but no one should have to endure the homelessness and hardship I endured. In the future I hope to channel my resources and energies into a non-profit organization: Helping impoverished adults, children, and families in the US and around the globe.
