From years of drug abuse and depression, my memory is turning to shit.
I was never good at memorizing dates and history, or names even, but when it came down to it I remembered 90 percent of faces and person to person encounters. That skill is slowly diminishing now.
I’ve said before, people make life worth living. The good ones, the bad ones that you encounter in real life, they’ve contributed to your character, your personality, your story.

You don’t have to win money to benefit from poker. Poker IMO is the best avenue to meet a diverse and inspirational array of people and personalities.
It can change your life. In 2009 I met one of my dearest friends playing cards. I’ve seen TV poker pros sit at the table next to me (Allen Cunningham, Matt Afleck), I’ve played 3/5 with a 1983 Raiders Superbowl champion. I’ve met millionaire entrepreneurs. And last but not least, I’ve met decent working class people and degenerate scumbags. They’ve all shown me who I was, who I am, and who I could become.
