I actually got Aces cracked twice today. Once was earlier on in the day and a guy called a bet pre, then proceeded to flop a Queen high straight. I check called flop, check folded scary turn.
The second time was worse.
So old guy with 230$ stack in UTG+1 opens to $30. My reads on this villain: he looks like a standard old white nit. Tight range, wouldn't open to $30 with just any two cards.
I have 180$, I have direct position in UTG+2 and I just smooth call my pocket Aces, AhAs. No other action behind.
Flop comes KdKc8s. He check, I check.
Turn is 4. He check, I check.
River is T.
Board is KK84T
He bet 30, I call 30. He flips over KK for flopped quads.
I run bad so hard.
